David Stuart Seltzer

A nationally recognized criminal defense attorney with a courtroom-first practice in cybercrime, federal criminal defense, and complex litigation.

David Stuart Seltzer is the managing partner of OneCallLegal and the lead attorney on the firm's criminal defense and cybercrime practice. He has been admitted in Florida, New York, Colorado, and the District of Columbia, and is routinely admitted pro hac vice when his clients' matters reach beyond those jurisdictions.

David began his career as a prosecutor in the Cyber Crimes Unit of the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, where he handled the kind of digital-forensics-intensive matters that most defense attorneys never see from the inside. That experience continues to shape how he prepares cases on the defense side today — from the way he reads forensic evidence to the way he negotiates with the same offices he once served alongside.

Over more than two decades in practice, David has built a national reputation as a criminal defense attorney who takes the cases other lawyers won't. His client base spans entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals from a wide range of international backgrounds, and his courtroom approach is defined by exhaustive preparation, technical literacy in digital evidence, and an unwillingness to let a prosecutor's narrative go unchallenged.

The way he runs the firm reflects the way he was raised in the law: cases are tried, not handed off. Clients work with David directly. The firm's 24/7 intake model is something he insisted on personally — built on a single principle that has guided his career since 2013: skilled legal representation should be reachable by the people who actually need it.

Menachem M. Mayberg, Esq.

Co-founder of OneCallLegal and the firm's lead voice on civil litigation, contracts, and business disputes — a courtroom wordsmith with 25+ years of practice.

Menachem M. Mayberg co-founded OneCallLegal and leads the firm's civil and commercial practice. Over more than 25 years, he has built a reputation as one of South Florida's most approachable trial advisors — equally comfortable at a deposition table, in a contract negotiation, or before a jury.

Menachem started his career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where he spent his early years in criminal court trying cases for clients who had no other access to skilled representation. That foundation — a high-volume, high-stakes courtroom practice — informs everything he does today, from the way he reads a contract to the way he walks a jury through a civil claim.

His civil practice now spans contract review and negotiation, business disputes, and a broad range of civil litigation matters. Clients in every corner of South Florida — entrepreneurs, business owners, individuals navigating complicated insurance and commercial issues — come to Menachem because his counsel is straightforward, honest, and grounded in two decades of trial experience.

Inside the firm, Menachem is known as a wordsmith. He drafts and argues with a precision that is hard to teach, and his calm, steady presence in negotiations is one of the firm's defining strengths. Outside of cases, he is one of the partners who insists most loudly that the firm stay accessible — that the door stays open for the people who need legal help and can't always pay top-market rates to get it.

Eric Katz, Esq.

Lead attorney on the firm's personal injury practice — auto accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, negligent security — with multiple seven-figure settlements to his name.

Eric Katz leads the personal injury practice at OneCallLegal and represents injury victims across the entire state of Florida. His work focuses on the cases where the stakes are highest for clients: serious motor vehicle collisions, wrongful death, premises liability, and negligent security claims.

Eric's relationship to personal injury law started before law school. He worked inside personal injury firms while earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and continued through his time at the University of Miami School of Law — meaning that by the time he was admitted to the Florida Bar, he already had a working understanding of how injury cases move from intake to settlement to trial.

That early exposure shapes the way he runs files today. He reads medical records the way insurance adjusters read them. He builds his liability theories the way defense counsel will try to break them. And he negotiates from a position of credibility because carriers know he is willing to try the case if the offer doesn't get there.

The work shows in the results. Eric has secured multiple seven-figure settlements for injury victims across Florida — from auto and trucking collisions to premises liability and wrongful death matters. Clients describe him as direct, prepared, and tireless: three qualities that, in this practice, translate directly into the value of a recovery.

Suzanne Bell, Esq.

Former Miami-Dade prosecutor with a decade in the State Attorney's Office — including its specialized insurance fraud unit — now in private practice on the civil side.

Suzanne Bell brings to the firm a decade of prosecutorial trial experience and an unusually deep familiarity with insurance fraud investigations. After ten years at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, including several years in its specialized insurance fraud unit, she now leads civil litigation matters where understanding the carrier's playbook is half the case.

Suzanne joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office in 2005 and spent the next ten years there, building a courtroom practice across high-volume criminal dockets and, eventually, the office's specialized insurance fraud unit. The work in that unit was unusual: it gave her line-of-sight into how insurance carriers, their special investigations units (SIUs), and law enforcement actually build cases against insureds — a perspective most plaintiff-side civil attorneys never see.

That background informs her practice today. Insurance disputes, fraud-adjacent matters, and complex civil claims are the places where her experience compounds: she knows what carriers look for, what they exaggerate, and where their investigations tend to break down. For clients on the receiving end of an insurance denial, that knowledge translates directly into leverage.

Beyond the case work, Suzanne is a fluent Spanish speaker and a long-time member of Miami's Cuban-American community. She approaches client relationships with patience and care — a sensibility that comes naturally to someone who is also a wife, a mother, and an avid outdoors enthusiast outside of practice.
